Big Boy Planter

This giant beauty was made when lakes were still frozen which is what inspired this "frozen pond" surface. The glaze is a rich, layered collection of bubble forms seemingly suspended in time, waiting for the warmth of spring to release them. Playful circle underglaze transfers bounce around the base, adding a graphic element to the exposed clay body. While there are no drainage holes in this pot, there is plenty of room to add pebbles, rocks or leca for drainage and still have space for a healthy root system.
